Tracey Super
Administrative Captain

Captain Tracey Super was hired by the Middle Township Police Department in March of 2006 and graduated from Gloucester County Police Academy. Captain Super served as a patrolman for six years, prior to being assigned to the Middle Township Major Crimes Unit in August of 2012. He served four years in this capacity, until being promoted to the rank of Sergeant and taking command of the Alpha Squad within the patrol division in August of 2016. Captain Super served 5 years as a Sergeant. During this time, he attended and graduated from The New Jersey Association of Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Academy.  In September of 2021, Captain Super was promoted to Detective Lieutenant, overseeing the Major Crimes Unit and Street Crimes Unit.

In June 2023, Captain Super was promoted to his current rank of Administrative Captain.  Captain Super’s duties include supervising the Administrative Division of the police department and he also serves as the police department’s public information officer.

During his career with the Middle Township Police Captain Super was a member/commander of the Honor Guard, a D.A.R.E/L.E.A.D Instructor, a Field Training Officer and an instructor with the Middle Township Police Youth Camp.  Captain Super is the department’s accreditation manager, which entails keeping the department up to date with policies and procedures. There are 112 standards set by the New Jersey Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission with which the department needs to comply. These standards are considered the “best practices” of law enforcement.  The Middle Township Police Department was re-accredited in March of 2023.

Captain Super grew up in Cape May County and graduated from Ocean City High School in 1991. In 1996, Lieutenant Super graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. Captain Super has lived in Middle Township with his wife and children since 1997.
